Birthday #426 (More Than I Should Be) Poem by Thomas Plotz

Birthday #426 (More Than I Should Be)

I need to give you, my Birthday poem for you,
Drew the one you're able to call your own,
I'll keep it shortly shown, and sweet, for
This card seems to,
Travel round trip - complete…

For you may have moved again,
Not staying long… in one destination, anticipation of this friend
Even though I know, this is a forever home

I identify with some boys, who don't own a couch,
Play gigs all day, than crash at friends and family's places,
For I did that life once too dear,

Now I'm a shell of the man, I use to be,
Singing of a time… of how I was free,
I love you... and you love me,

Baby you, love me…
More than I love myself, you see…
I… Believe, it's more than, I… should be, loved,

It's more, than I, should be… loved, and it's
More than I should be… loved,

Baby, how you love me, so

As you said, as I said,
I miss you…
And I Do…
My Love
