Biruni Vs Aristotle Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Biruni Vs Aristotle

Biruni vs Aristotle

For years,
-for decades
-I have searched, researched
-keeping arms open
-going, looked-around
-sought voices, and sounds
-to tell me of him
-and to learn of him
-wanted to know him
-I love Biruni
-from out and in

Failing has been is
-my way of living

Have been stagnant
-have failed and remained
-dead lake, a swamp
-therefore, do stink
-have rotten and will

Finally came day
-encountered some change
-as says mother tongue:
- "Searcher is finder"

-closer feel now
-to him, his shrine
-see him standing
-facing the grand
-of the past, to day

For long I was told:
- "Is best of best."
-is god of schools
- "Master of trades."
-canon in all fields
- "Science, literature."

"Oh, my Lord! "
-I said, filled with joy
-my shouting echoed

Felt me in the cave
-known as "Plato's"

Shadows on the wall
-eyes saw the front
-behind, light, fire
-we cannot observe

Spoke professors
-we, nailed to the seats

Never dared to look
-but to the front
-to hear and see

Cistern, well, ocean
-of science, literature,

Biruni says:
- "No! "

He raises questions:
- "Why should he say so? "

Master is Sina
-satellites, stars
-their bodies solid…
