Bitter Tears Poem by Pallavi Tripathi

Bitter Tears

Rating: 5.0

I thought you were stronger
Among the two of us
But you left at the first
Hurdle, the first dark night
You were gone faster
Than the deer running
From lion, Now the times
Spent with you are burdens
I have to carry to my grave
The nights and days
That were supposed to be
Highlights of my life
Are now rusting memories
That I shed with bitter tears
Only to steel my determination
To be good without you.
