Bizzard Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Bizzard

Blizzard

Too rigid, unaware
-sat in dark, frozen.

Demanded and ordered,
-words, plans, disorders
-in the cold temperatures;
-Majestic and Royal in crown.
-Throne his, as were the palaces,
-acted as does water when vapored
-rising off surfaces of the sea or ocean,
- (to forming moist clouds that give birth
-to the white snowflakes, basis for blizzard!)

Danger is, blizzard.
Danger is, blizzard.
Danger is, blizzard.

It blinds and takes lives.
It deprives or misguides.

This is what happens when
-rulers are dictators
-regardless if ruling
-as Monarchs, autocrats
-or cloaked as leaders of a faith
-enforcing some sort of Religion.

Was on tour that took me
-to houses, immigrants
-we spoke sweetly
-later hugged to depart.

My bag filled with result:
- "Immigrants are trees uprooted,
-thrown out as misfit, dangerous unwanted,
-who in fact fought to gain freedom and knowledge…
-but the mad gardener objected: "I am right, no other one…"
-and leashed dogs, in muzzle, barked, and bark tore with bites.

Many were of Iran, which I miss
-some moved out before and some after came Islam…
