Blank Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Blank

Blank

Read poem on paper
Blank one
A virgin, not yet touched!

Wanted to disagree
Pulled brakes and stopped!

But talk now:
"Though true and paper is still a virgin
She is child of the rape and rapist
It is made of the wood of trees
Axed and cut brutal
Kicking birds out of house
Taking shades off the huts…
Ignoring animals…
Then thrown in water
Partly turned to powder
And then boiled…
Then filtered from foam to thick parts…
And machined to soften and dry…
Then was shaped
Then was cut…"

What virgin?
