Take a close look in my Heart
Tell me what you see
Look at the wounded part
Tell me what it can be
Do you see my heart pumping
Working like a machine
Or do you see my heart running
From a bad scene
Do you hear my heart weeping
Like a child in the dark
Or do you hear something singing
Like a small lonely lark
Is my heart still bleeding
From a wound long ago
Or is a new pain still seeding
Deep down in my soul
Do you see my heart bleeding
Through the cracks of my soul
Tell me what you are seeing
This is something I need to know
Please look … I’m pleading
Tell me what it can be
Can you stop my heart from bleeding
Because it is killing me.
