Blind In Your Classroom Poem by Christos R. Tsiailis

Blind In Your Classroom

Peculiarity of a blue eye
when I was born brown-eyed,
would never disturb you.

A good student you are,
hanging from the teacher’s mouth
your eyesight focused,
hearing in strange-coming waves...

I hear your breath, fast,
like a hummingbird’s flying.
And the distance of 10 cm
is everything
full of current,
dangerous, lethal,
you threaten not to be touched,
not even seen.
