Bling Poem by felix paintwhenpainted

Bling

glittering gems in your hair
fireworks shoot through the air

you gleam in your overflowing wealth
you hide your failing health
you drink and smoke
as your heart starts to choke

you live for today
you dont realise your health is flying away
you eat one more juicy steak
as your body threatens to break

you ignore any warning signs
you cream away your aging lines
you dont plan on mising one moment of fun
but your skin burns up under the glistening sun

your too foolish to seek the shade
you think your life is made
you believe that you are the greatest at being strong
but softly your vitals whisper that you are wrong

you flash proudly all of your worthless bling
they wont save you when the reaper comes to ring
