Blizzard Poem by Terry Hoffman

Blizzard

Blinding, raging blowing snow,
blocking me where e'er I go.
Icy crystals in my face,
plummet me at every pace.

Breathing out a whitish cloud,
I am gasping right out loud.
Frostbite assails at my toes
and I cannot feel my nose.

Like icicles my fingers feel;
gusty winds blow at my heel.
I'm so cold I want to scream,
then I waken from my dream.
