Blood & Gore Poem by Mason Maestro

Blood & Gore

Close the door, take out of sight
The middle ages upward spike
The snow falls hard and don't you know
The winds at night are blowing cold
Carbon offsets, cap and trade
Global warming gets ‘em paid

Since Kyoto, laws proposed
Hitting hard with dirty lows
Bury truth it's how they plan it
They hold no aim to save the planet
Holdren proposed ecocide
David and Al stood by his side

Antarctic freeze the scale of ice
Does not assist a rising price
The snow drives back, the agenda's slow
The wolves of doom are howling more
They carry news that reach our range
To build a case for climate change

Prestigious Ring Consortium
We fight this horde presidium
Evil instruments play the chords
Land accords for overlords
Inconvenient tales of Gore
Brace and hail the tides of war

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Produced around the early formation period of Vested Vermin from a Jade Palace, it initially was considered not part of the conceptual novelty simply because it did not fall under any of the 12 paradoxes of Michael Ellner. However as it was about carbon tax and the period of its development, it has become a bonus addition to the novelty in the printed edition
