When we both were younger, decades ago, I told Carol.
Who was a Baptist missionary I wanted to be one.
She was a younger adult and I was a middle aged woman.
I will always remember what advice she told me, "Roxanne
Everett needs missionaries too." In short bloom where
you are planted.
I am no longer a Baptist, but I am a Lutheran. The
Baptists are good people. But I feel more at home
being a Lutheran.
Fast foreword into the 21st century and the age of the
computerized internet. Courtesy of the world wide web.
I am now able to spread the good news of the gospel
of Jesus Christ, on my various websites.
And I am not alone. Poets and writers better informed
and more talented than I will ever be. Are also doing
the same. In the good old United States, there is an
open widow to share the gospel.Other countries,
kingdoms, and nations no longer can enjoy that
religious freedom.
In one nation in Western Europe a Christian
was persecuted for posting a Bible verse
on the internet. Others were in trouble
for expressing their non politically correct
Christian viewpoints also on the internet.
And if you don't think it can happen here.
On the internet you are wrong! One of my
websites refers to certain sensitive
religious expressions as for adults only.
I notified them and implied the gospel
should be available to children as well.
Not on Twitter, I no longer have that
account. But surprisingly on Facebook.
I visited a religious website and tried to
post their daily Bible verse. I was told
certain people found it objectional.
In other words it could not be posted!
My religious freedom of expression was
being censored for posting an on-line
Bible verse courtesy of a Christian
website!
I am read many things on the internet
I find offensive. I have found if
I don't like something to simply
skip it.
Love in Christ Jesus!
