Blue Corridors Poem by Raj Thampi

Blue Corridors

Rating: 4.5

Don't call my name
I will not look back
to meet your eyes
blue
I will not look back
to see your face, pale
carrying tear marks
Do not drown me in the ocean
of your tears...

Lilly may not wait for me at that end
Lilacs will not be my springs, may be
Still I must walk this corridor
blue
I might walk always in darkness
I might sleep without dreams
I might carry a sigh always
at that end
Still I must walk this corridor
blue
Do not captivate me in your sighs

There the green becomes shallow
There winter never will snow
There dreams will never take birth
Still I must go there
Walking this corridor
blue
Do not call my name..I will not look back

There the lake without our stars hidden
There the wind broken in pieces
There the limes never in bloom
There the silence of another corridor
Still I must go there
Walking this corridor
blue
There a womb waits my return
Do not stop me...I cannot stop

There the day will absorb me
There I will become another face
There I will live and die
There I will get burried & forgotten
Still I must go there
Walking this corridor
blue
There is a tomb waiting for me
Leave my fingers..set me free
Do not call my name..I will not look back
