Blue Lines Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Blue Lines

Fly away like
A sheet of paper released
From it's packet.
Free of restriction.
Free to flutter about.
Fly away & get lost in the emotion
That's not meant to be kept between blue
parallel lines.
The wrinkles of different feelings
Pressed far away from the things
You've only dreamt.
Fly away from the binder that keeps
You afraid of new experiences.
Fly away and slide off your desk.
For you too have dreams that ink
Cannot weigh down
