Blue Tear In My Eye Poem by Brianna Wilshusen

Blue Tear In My Eye

Rating: 5.0

Tears that fall from my eye,
Glisten blue in the light.
My tears I will not spare,
For my heavy sorrow.
I cry for my one love,
I cry for he I lost.
My dear hearted lover,
My other half of soul.
You must understand see,
I left him of disapointment.
I was happy you see,
With child and I heart of joy.
But for him to my horror,
I killed a dear sweet angel.
I killed it for him,
He asked me to see?
I wanted to please him,
I thought he would regret.
So once the deed was done,
I told him, my true love.
What next was a nightmare to me,
He was happy, no regret, joy.
I thought he'd want to try once more,
Yet instead it was like nothing.
I dumped him with a tear in my eye,
A year past and he won't even look.
At me you see, he'll never see me,
I love him still, the love of my life.
He never sees me,
I see him always.
I feel so much hatred,
At myself all alone.
I killed one of the most prized things,
My own flesh and blood, my baby.
I should have known,
He would not care.
But for my dear love,
For him, I obeyed.
Now every time I see him,
I feel the tears unleashing.
As he looks past me now,
Gazing at her beauty.
I feel a dropp of water,
At a blue tear in my eye.
