Blueberry Bubblegum Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Blueberry Bubblegum

I offered her a piece of bubble gum
Shared from my heart to hers.
She didn't know
That it was my last piece
But to watch her cheeks swell
with enjoyment.
Chewing up & down
Chewing up & down
Her happiness was a bubble
I didn't want to burst
