Said she'd never climb another mountain
But said nothing bout a hill
Steep ascent so weary
Dull slope inviting thrill
Said she'd never wear the saddle
Never take another ride
But the pony was out grazing
And she liked the easy stride
Said she'd never cross the valley
Risk the precipice
Took the gully but a moment
For better or for worse
A beautiful and well crafted poem adorned with compelling images.
I like how the poetic seeing changes when looking at a poem from different angles and through other eyes!
Life itself has many wonders to offer that we could never stop our desire to explore. A beautiful adorned with compelling images.
The marriage of words crafts images with depth seen by the perceptive eye!
