Blurred Lines Poem by Mellisa Salazar

Blurred Lines

Rating: 4.8

Our roads have been paved
And each of them are calling
In a different direction
Trying to keep up
But we're falling

We have to let go
Of the sweet and the delight
And understand that on our own paths
Is where black is black
And white is white

I reached a little into grey
and stretched myself too thin
It'll take me a little while
To snap back together again
