Bound And Sound Poem by Mark Trajano

Bound And Sound

We are nothing but bound by flesh and bones,
we are nothing but bound to Earth and'er stones,
we are nothing but bound by realities,
we're nothing but bound by possibilities;

Scorched by great fire or drowned by calm water,
we emerge for nothing but the better.
People are again born and bear new names,
names that could put out even hellish flames.

Going through this simple cycle countless times,
playing and falling to the beats of His rhymes,
beings travel close to the speed of light.
Bound by words, we are speechless on what's Right.
