Bovine Poem Poem by M.L. Squier

Bovine Poem

I’m a cow

Not a sow!

You eat my meat

And drink my milk!

It’s white and sweet

Like liquid silk!

I’m in your cheese

As soft as leaves!

Feed me-but please-

No bones or meat

From legs or feet

Of my bovine kin!

Or I might become

A mad cow again!
