Boxed In Poem by Giovanna Marasco

Boxed In

Rating: 5.0

Predetermined wrongs and rights
Govern each and every life.
Another law is introduced,
Your sense of self is now reduced.
Do we need so many rules-
Just to keep our kids in school?
If they weren't there
Would we be the same?
Living our lives inside this frame?

Giovanna, rules seem to be in constant flux depending on all kinds of factors. Just as you're let free from one box/frame, you find yourself in another. Good write! Brian
