Brace, embrace!

Brace, embrace!
It was only yesterday and,
It was over yesterday;
But, the clock is ticking all around us today;
And, tomorrow comes with ist own troubles.
Race, embrace!
With the colour of your eyes;
And, with the shadows of your steps,
But, learn from the laws and be straight always.

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play,

Of peace on earth, good will to men.
