I've heard the ocean call to me,
As waves crash on the shore.
The stony spires of ragged coves
I've ventured to explore.
I've sailed upon an angry sea
With men I never knew.
I've felt sea foam upon my face,
Tasted its briny brew.
I've pressed against fierce, stormy winds
And braved wild angry waves.
I've heard the sirens deadly songs
That haunt the angry caves.
I've been called an adventurous man,
Which may be true in part.
But my very bravest moment
Was to give a girl my heart.
