Breaking Point Poem by Christopher Montalvo

Breaking Point

(Dedication/Inspiration: Puddle of Mudd)

Poke out my eyes,
A prisoner in my own mind,
On the verge of suicide,
The hourglass man,
Who burned his life away,
I would live on borrowed time,
If I could love you once more.

Trying to take control,
But my destiny may never change,
All I ask for is,
To be blessed with your presence,
To take these migraines away,
Put my soul at ease,
Change my mind,
Create a miracle,
While our hearts intertwined,
and our spirits foreplay,
Cloud 9 is just one step away.
