Breaking The Fall Poem by Dori Spooner

Breaking The Fall

When The Pain Is So Hard For You To Stand
Your Legs And Arms Just Fail To Bend
It Takes Over Your Body Day By Day
Sometimes You Just Don't Want To Stay
The Words In My Head I Can't Express
My Life Is In A State Of Total Duress
I Have One Bright Shinning Light
Through The Torrential Rain
My Beautiful Daughter
Relieves My Pain
Remember That Through It All
You're Children Are There, Breaking The Fall
