Brigitte And Daryl Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Brigitte And Daryl

Brigitte and Daryl

Started with Cathy and asking
No, no, no, with the Tom.

“There’s place…”
He starts, I go on:
“I want it be local.”
I drove…

Trailer was absent, it was gone
No Funky, no Monkey to get soup.

Then Cathy:
“Local fish of Daryl’s…”

Lost and found and at end
Miracle

As always
I smile, joke and laugh
In no time wedded we (are same kind)
My order: “feed me with what you like.”

Came Bernie
Two years past his ninety
We chatted and I liked, and I learned.

Then came food, then beer
“Illegal, they can lose their license.” Bernie said:
(Though it was like shopping brown bag.)

What a joy, pleasure, humane, human.
At the time to depart:
“Good to go, ” I was told.
With no pay.

How can I
How can I
How can I

leave this tale?

I must tell
I must tell
I must tell:

“Love is love everywhere, no colour, and no age; no gender.”
Thank you my sister, brother.
