Broken promises
Broken dreams
Nothing anymore is what it seems

You’re here one day
Gone the next
I wonder how they walk away

You tell me lies
I find the truth
It hurts and makes me want to cry

I don’t know you anymore
You’re so distant
My heart is tore

I miss you
You’ve changed
Why can’t you just say I love you too?

Light one day
Dark the next
I remember what the say

Hard is life
Battle we do
Put down the knife
And wonder who

He broke your heart
You love him still
He tore you apart
But fight you will

I’m confused
I don’t know anything anymore
I don’t know you
Nothing is as seems

Lead me back to the life I knew
When I didn’t have to wonder who
Who broke my heart and tore me apart
Lead me back to our fairytale
Our happiness
Our smiles and laughs
When everything was perfect
