Broken Heart Poem by Vi Lanflagle

Broken Heart

Rating: 1.0

The tears fall,
Straight from her broken heart.
Is she screaming at a wall?
Can't you hear how much you tore her apart?

Moonlight falls in streaks
Onto her alabaster skin
Illuminating the paling fire -
It's dying within.

You don't seem to understand.
She's broken into the pieces
That are lying in your hand.

Forgive her if she doesn't make much sense
It's too much to comprehend.
Feeling so numb, confused, all alone.
Could this be the end?

Lying in a heap on the floor
Her thin shoulders shake with sobs.
I feel like I'm falling into the hole that you tore.
This way you knew there was nothing i could do.

Remembering, it now seems like a blur.
Killing us just wasn't enough.
You had to keep on and do more.
But you know in the end,
We will always win.

The poem is so wonderful. It has touched my heart deeply. I came to know that you understand someone's feelings and emotions more than me. Keep it up. Glad to read it. Thanks
