My fingers slowly slipping away
Clinging on to the edge of sanity
Every step leads me to the same place
Can’t run away anymore

Break down the door of my mind
Just another empty room
The darkness staring back at me
Where did the light go

Shadows took over long time ago
Slowly strangling the light
Fighting for their place
No victory yet

Pain and love side by side
Struggling and yet the same
Never ending
Memories lost long ago

Just another door
Just another room
Empty space staring in silence
No answer
