Brokenhearted
Heartbroken I knelt before her
Closely and tightly I held her
A beautiful cheerful child
My baby my darling I cried
No one saw it coming no warning cry
Playing outside the garden gate
Where I though she would be safe
It was there I watched her fade
A hit and run by a well known tug
Intoxicated with drink and drugs
Was the cause of my sad grief
My babies life cut so brief
