Budding Rebellion... Poem by iqra hassan

Budding Rebellion...

Budding rebellion..

Stagnant waters, reflecting shameless light,
Blurred background of a tamed wind,
Floating whispers, diluting,
The otherwise dense silence around..
Creatures of the night patrolling,
Humanoids, but not made of the same soil,
Dementors were measuring the space above,
to take away what very little was left,
of any tinge of glee in the air..
Scurvy was the cloud above,
Which halted over the blessed only..
But the cursed ones?
They are always left to rot!
No ones favours what destiny favours not…
The whispers were growing vibrant,
Against the aura of nature blessed silence,
Who was it? Tempering the muteness?
The winds they say are not tamed anymore..
