Buddy Poem by Billy Loving

Buddy

Rating: 4.5

Buddy as white as can be
Happiness easy to see
Sitting so still
As he watches from the hill
From the water, he sips
Down his chin it drips
Hair blowing in the breeze
Sudden, playful sneeze
Soaking up the sun
Ready for some fun
Circling round and round
Collapsing to the ground
Eyes closing, breathing slows
His weariness steadily grows
To his surroundings, he numbs
As to sleep, he succumbs
