Dans, Oh dans,
totaan de trance
jij tweede ik,
jij slappe pik,
splijtzwam
van onvermogen.

Dans als een tol
dans je te dol,
dans uit je
verkrampte
kleine
pirouette.

D ans op de
castagnette,
op de krans,
op het Frans,
op de stralen
buitenzinnig.

Dans, Oh dans
als geregen kralen
die van verwrongen
strengen verdwalen
en zuig het leven
weer als een
naar binnen.

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
