Bullet - Poem by A.j. Binash

Cough into an infant exit wound
Watch blood splatter
Like spray paint.

So that each New Years Eve
The
Seconds
Before
Midnight
Will be counted
As if they were shots fired
From a six gun chamber.

The one that left a scar
Is the only one worth remembering.
