Buried Treasure Poem by Doral Deepset

Buried Treasure

Rating: 2.9

Like a mermaid
you lie washed up

on the beach.

We, its only
people.

I bury first
your ankles

leaving ten tiny toes
naked just for a whim

then proceed
to the knees.

Your patellas vanish.

You squirm
wiggle & giggle

as your polka-dot
bikini bottom

disappears
beneath the sands...in...time.

Oooops...there goes your belly button.

Then, tenderly
I cover each breast

leaving only two startled nipples
standing up for themselves.

Only your
head now

exists

its fiery ringlets
spilling out from...flowing out of

as if it were
a perpetual well

of fiery tresses.

“Un-bury me! ”
you demand

& I obey
your command

uncovering...discovering
bit by bit

the pleasures of your flesh

your sex
marks the spot

I bringing once again
to light

your buried treasure.

We make love
you still half submerged

The tide
lapping & laughing

at our heels.
