Burn By The Fire Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Burn By The Fire

Your face will be the reason I smile
as another second is to long
embraces felt as lips remain silent
through the kiss of each others
hands
soft as the clouds that pass their
jurisdiction
warm as the sun that lulls the moon
to it's presence
slowly unraveling
eternity to be seen in it's eye
sacred
to the winds that sweep the dust
of yesterdays tomorrow
as all it longs for
is you
cruified words
that hang upon the ballist
of were we last stood
footprints left to wash away into the matchsticks
that paint tonights
atmospehere
lifetimes that flash right before our eyes
as all I want is to see mine in yours
as all I want is to be yours
Souls intwine'd as the fires that ignite
the candles wick
may I be the moth thats addicted to its essence
may I be the moth thats become struck by it's
touch
do you think you'd notice
if not my soul surley wouldn't bare it
may my breath become yours
as it's all I could've ever wanted
Idyllic
as the butterflies that paint
heavens film
as the butterflies that fill
my stomach
still I long for your touch
as the sand longs for waters caress
as the sky longs for winds embrace
touching
holding
loving
adoring
