Burn My Heart, Free My Soul Poem by Krishna Shivkumar yadav

Burn My Heart, Free My Soul

As long as I can build,
My bridge will always be sink.
After million turns, light didn’t shed
How can I show you
My inner pain
Which will never end.
My patience no more inflate,
it took face of irate.
Speechless, nothing to say,
My word will have to pay.
They hate me,
They hate me from the heart,
They hate me from the soul,
Made me ugly with foul.
Till what time,
Till what time I will try,
Till what time I will cry,
Till what time I will wait,
Till what time I will fail,
I have just hide myself behind dark prison gate.
O! Lord are you angry with me,
If it is so,
Destroy me, make me cry,
Cut my heart, cut my veins,
Let my blood drain into gutter
Pieces of minced flesh into dustbin.
They come,
They come and snatch minced flesh from the floor,
Halfly eaten and thrown me on the road.
Burn my heart, free my soul,
let my life be no more.
Cut my arms, cut my toes,
I don’t want to live anymore.
Burn my heart, free my soul.
Burn my heart, free my soul.
