Burning Heart Poem by Zillur Rahman Shuvro

Burning Heart

My heart is burning like a cigarette
Or a cigarette is burning like my heart
Heartless! You knock the another mind's door
And cross me like blind giving no alert.
I've painted you on my heart's canvass
It will never be faded
As long as the butterfly will fly on the flower
It'll remain into my heart as the opposite name of hatred.
If your happiness is the happiness; go on like a river
If it is not, please back to the flashback
In a rainy day a boy was standing beneath the tree
You were returning from school with school-bag.
A blue umbrella was with you and shared with me
We were walking through the path of thrill and fear
And we wrinkled up in shame like the mimosa
When our bodies were touched each other.
Another rainy day you come to my house like ruined azure
After searching in tearful eyes in the end you will get
My window's curtain will be shaken by the wind
And I would be laid on my ashtray as a last part of cigarette.
