Burning Like Fire Poem by L. Ahlana Wolf

Burning Like Fire

Another saterday ticking hours pass like birds flying away,
How long should i stay?
Another minut, a secong away from what could have been
My tears left puddles for you to slip in
Your lack of guilt makes you my number one suspect
But your commentary makes me just forget

How long must we hold onto the past just to see how long it lasts?

How long must we rekindle this fire before it burns into desire?

How long must we stay like this? Turn me back into bliss.

But there was never a we just a him and thats all it's ever been
