Bury The Hatchet Poem by Jesser Weaver

Bury The Hatchet

We tend to have hatred.
Over people that done us wrong.
We don't take the time to attempt to get together.
... and sing the same song.

Anger is one letter away from Danger.
We can change someone's life....
by saying one kind word to a stranger.

Problems are inevitable.
And so are mistakes.
But to keep that smile on your face.
I'm going to do whatever it takes.

The lengths we go...
to make others happy.....
are never truly measured.
That's a complete lie....because when we die....
god will give us our treasure.

It's difficult to say sorry.....
because you don't know where to start.
If you honestly are apologetic....
the words will slither from your heart.

When I'm saying an apology....
I hold the phone close to my chest.
My eyes say the beginning of the sentence...
and my Corazon says the rest.

The world would be a better place...
if we all could forgive our neighbor.
Instead of just knocking on their door...
every time we need a favor.

It takes a lot of courage....
and strength to say a real apology.
So if you're the receiver.....
give them your full attention when they're sorry.

Meteors fall from the sky on a random night.....
we never see them coming.
So when someone is about to tell you the truth...
walk with them, instead of running.

Some of us are afraid to hear the truth....
that's why we run and hide.
But, me....I'd rather have an honest enemy....
than a fake friend by my side.

If we, as humans.....
would accept the fact that every thing.....
is forgivable.
We could make every.....
Good
Bad or sad moment, Reliveable.
