Butterfly Poem by Casey Jarrell

I have a dream that I would fly
high across the sky.
When you're all with me,
I'd get the same feeling.
Just like a butterfly,
I'll spread my wings.
I'll send you a prayer on my love.

With all of my friends
and all the love I send them,
I will do anything for them.
While we fly
so high in the sky,
we will sing from deep inside of our hearts.

I say (whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa)
as I would fall.
You say (whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa)
as you reach out for me.

I have a dream that I would fly
high across the sky.
When you're all with me,

I am free when you're all with me.
When we're far apart,
we all look at the stars.
