by now, you must
realize
what a poem should
be,

life giver, life saver,
the one that grows the
seeds of hope,
the one that gives you
the flowers of happiness,
the one that believes
in the triumph of the good,
and the surrender of evil,


one that tells you
there is tomorrow and it is
as beautiful and meaningful
as today.

by now, you must remember,
there is so much to a poem
as the life it exudes,
the perfume of the soul
that gapes from the eye
of the body.


by now, these are not just
words, but drops of water,
scent of fresh life,
taste of sweet happiness,
dripping honey from the bees,
from these hexagons,
to the fires of the dragons.
