By The Rivers Of Babylon Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

By The Rivers Of Babylon

Ethel in rags,
Seeking for you;
Once again,
But, what went wrong with her and Mr. Flint?

The posterity of life,
The passion of love,
There is time for everything!
Because, true love overpowers silver and gold.

By the rivers of Babylon!
Get on board now for the Zion train comes along;
With the muse of love and the aroma of romance,
However, those who make the Gods are like them.

The shades of dreams,
The shades of love,
The shades of money,
The shades of a kiss!
But, the truth is for free.

By the rivers of Babylon,
With the muse of a pool as a gift;
But, what went wrong with her and Mr. Flint?
And now, she is seeking after you.

Peace, love, joy, unity and care!
The passion of life;
With a land as your inheritance,
But, show love to all mankind without hatred and war.
