C'mon Mr. Easter

C'mon Mr. Easter
Where are you?
It's almost Easter time
You've got work to do

C'mon Mr. Easter
Stop hiding in Asia
'Cause wherever you go
We'll find you, you know

C'mon Mr. Easter
Easter's coming nearer
Make the flowers bloom
Make them shine as bright as the moon

C'mon Mr. Easter
The children are here
Don't dissapoint them
They'll cry, I fear

I love repetition because it makes poems more memorable.
Particularly in the case of children. I bet you have been
    or shall be a teacher.

Poem of the Day

poet Paul Laurence Dunbar

The mist has left the greening plain,
The dew-drops shine like fairy rain,
The coquette rose awakes again
Her lovely self adorning.

The Wind is hiding in the trees,
