Cabin Fever. Poem by Ross Mabey

Cabin Fever.

Poem - Cabin Fever.

By - Ross Mabey.

I think I've got cabin fever,
I've been snow bound too long.
It's been five weeks now,
Since I have seen anyone.

The snow is six feet high now.
I've tried to dig my way through.
The flakes just keep coming down,
And I'm really in a stew.

The wife and kids went shopping,
Yes, that was five weeks ago.
I'm getting a little worried now,
As they've been away so long.

Is it because the Anchorage shops,
Are 200 miles away?
Or the Huskies that I've had for 10 years,
are getting to be slow?
