Cahersiveen Poem by Margaret O Driscoll

Cahersiveen

Rating: 5.0

Cahersiveen, O'Connell's birthplace sweet
All it's friendly residents I was blessed to meet
Hills so heavenly rising high above
Every wildflower reminders of God's love
Ring of Kerry with scenery so grand
Sheep bleating all around the scenic land
Idyllic islands lying off the coast
Valentia nearby with many sights to boast
Each river especially Caragh
Every landmark in lovely Iveragh
Nature's gift of the canvas to set down, a very special place

Cahersiveen town
