California Kiss

White sands of gold,
mining town of old,
always will be in my heart.
Redondo Pier,
San Diego sceneful and clear,
saddened to be apart.
Beauty there to loved,
the women from above,
the best I've ever seen.
California I loved you,
but now I make do,
imagining my sun kissed Queen.
