As the dawn breaks the darkness,
The dawn of a new era,
It has arrived,
And it is ready to start the day.
When the fortunate ones call out for more,
Not realizing the unfortunates have nothing to praise.
As the fortunate one call out for more,
He realizes this in a flash.
He sets out for the big city,
Not knowing anything of the unfortunates,
Then he sees a beggar...
Praying, Saying 'Thank you, Lord for my wife...'
This beggar is an unfortuante one,
Not much to eat or wear,
Yet he is saying thanks,
for everythin' he has.
As the forunate one passes, he sees
Him, and drops a hundred in his tin,
He says, 'I hope your life gets better after
This...' Then he walks off.
The unfortunate one rejoices,
Praying, saying,
'Thank you God,
For people like him...'
