Can I leave now?
Can I finally let go?
Slip away slowly
Let the blood flow

Can I let death win?
Can I hand over my soul?
Give up this life
And everything it holds

Can I stop running?
Can I give up the fight?
Let go of the constant battle
Walk towards the light

Can I forget you?
Can you forgive me?
I just want to leave
To set my soul free

Can you hear me?
Can you understand?
This is what I want
To take death’s hand

Can you kiss me?
Can you say goodbye?
Let the shadows consume me
As I slowly die
