Can'T Feel A Thing Poem by Sham AlSaadi

Can'T Feel A Thing

Rating: 2.7

He got his old hair cut back
That messy brown hair
And the sparkling' lovely green eyes
I see him in pictures
Wearing his grey shirts
Smiling that smile
I used to see on him

I see his words
I see his comments
I see what he is doing
But I can't feel a thing

I see the way he looks
His breath, his speech
Things that I used to feel
But I can't feel a thing

Cause somehow, some time
What we had
Was broken to pieces

I see his words
I see his comments
I see what he is doing
But I can't feel a thing

I see the way he looks
His breath, his speech
Things that I used to feel
But I can't feel a thing

The heart I held on so long
That could memorize me so
The one I counted on
Has left me in the middle of the road

Even though I forgot
What we meant to be
But apart of me
Is still so weak
When it comes
To letting this person out of me
With al those things
That remind me

Cause I see his words
I see his comments
I see what he is doing
But I can't feel a thing
From him towards me

He was someone
I would never get the chance to know
But at those moment, those days
He's someone I knew

I'm saying those words
With sadness in my heart,
not happiness
A frown on my face,
not a smile on it
Not as he wished
I'm writing those words
with a few tears dropping
Hoping he'll notice
The hiding messages inside of them
In every note and every post
It would be so purple
If he did
So at least he feels a thing
From him towards him
As I can't feel a thing
From him towards me

It's not for the seven weeks
It's for the friendship period
Before
That got buries so fast
Under sand and rocks

Cause you can see his words
See his comments
See what ever he is doing
But it won't prove a thing

Look at his look
His breath, his speech
His eyes, his hair
And other things I used to feel
But it won't prove a thing
That it still means something to him

But I can't feel a thing …
From him towards me..
