Can'T Thy Love Be My Cure? Poem by Daya Nandan

Can'T Thy Love Be My Cure?

Rating: 5.0

How sweetly dost thou smile?
Enough to sweeten the river of Nile,
How much dost thou love and hate?
enough of fire to rise yet enough to abate,

If love to hate an emotion may transform,
By chance can thou's heart for me become so warm?
If roses can wilt and ice can melt,
Can feelings searched be once again felt?

If eyes can see and felling are pure,
Can't thy love be my cure?
Search the sky embrace that star,
Doth thou not love who i are?

Change i can with thy given chance,
So partner will thou give i a second dance?
Yes, angels might fall and oceans will meet the sand,
But chances and faith are different does thou not understand?

As gravity may influence every shape and every structure,
Doubtful art thee love can influence our present and future?
Twisting winds chances art, vibrant beauty seen through a kaleidoscope,
Yet, few see and few believe. Is my love to thee worth a little hope?

Mind not my body injured from head to heel,
But can thee sense the love that i feel?
Strong is love, strong is heart to the highest degree,
Doubtful art thee that i can swim the seven seas?

What must i be, a gentlemen shrouded of debonair?
And yet, by heaven's grace, I think my love as rare,
Doubtful art thou that love of my life thou art?
But know my love none besides thee has a place in heart,

Hath thou given up on hopes thee and i used to cherish?
But believe not i of feelings that time can perish,
Can't thee see vivid hope with thy unaided eye?
Savor we can our love and hope that that was never to die,

Hath thou before in heart felt a space, a hole?
A growing void feasting inside, swallowing thine whole,
Hurtful will it be not is losing thyself with passing time?
But know that fade will not desire to call thee mine,

Think thou may, think thou will,
Will this lad for love run up the highest hill?
Weak i am, a slave of thy discriminating love,
Laugh at this rover will they not the angels above?

Like a trapped corpse i am in an ancient grave,
Lost in the ruins of the darkest cave,
But believe i that within the terror of darkness shineth,
Hidden strength unknown in our souls underneath,

Will thy instincts trust this torch to reignite?
Will i have a chance to show thou everlasting light?
Things could be if thou eyes within thy heart could see
All this warmth and love i have reserved for thee

If my life would end and a day i had,
I would apologize to thee for my acts so bad,
But present god loves he flows me life,
And this quest i walk to make thee my wife.
